The Novas are the rookie team where all new league players start. In order to join the Novas, you must register your Polytopia in-game name in the Discord server. To access multiplayer in the app, you must purchase at least one tribe.
To graduate from the Novas and be eligible to get on a team, a player must complete at least one 2v2 game and start at least one more.

Step by step instructions

1. Join the Discord server
2. Type $novas in any channel
3. Type $setname followed by your Polytopia in-app name. For example, type $setname Espark if your in-game name is Espark.
4. To see a list of games you can join, type $novagames or $games in the bot-commands channel
5. Type $join [game ID] to get in a game
6. Register for free agency after having completed at least one 2v2 game and starting a second one. Free agent signups happen every two weeks
