Elo

**PolyELO **is matchmaking and ranking system to help players find other people to play multiplayer Polytopia games. It uses an Elo rating system so that game winners will gain PolyElo points, and losers will lose points. Results from ranked/competitive games will affect players’ Elo score and ranking on the leader boards. Unranked/casual games do not affect ELO.

To use this system, a player must:

• Register your Player ID on the official Polytopia Discord server
• Enter the game details into the PolyElo bot
• Declare the winner into the PolyElo bot after the game is finished
