The Novas: your first season.
The Novas are the rookie team where every new player starts. To graduate from the Novas and be eligible for a house, you need to complete one 2v2 game and start a second. Below is the path, top to bottom.
Step by step
Join the PolyChampions Discord
Open the Discord invite and accept the server rules. The Discord is where every match is scheduled and logged.
Register with the PolyElo bot
In the #bot-commands channel, run $setname YourPolytopiaName to link your in-game name to your Discord account.
Open a Novas 2v2 with $open
Use $open novas to put yourself in the queue for a 2v2 Novas game. The bot pairs you with another rookie and two opponents.
Play the game inside the Polytopia app
Coordinate moves with your teammate over Discord. Take screenshots each turn. Game settings: Might mode, 24-hour timer, large map.
Log the result with $win or $loss
When the game ends, both teams confirm the result through the bot. This updates your Elo and marks your Nova progress.
Graduate and enter Free Agency
After completing one 2v2 and starting a second, run $freeagent to enter the next auction. Houses bid using their FAT budget.
